Nominate an outstanding teacher for the Iowa STEM Teacher Award

Exceptional educators throughout Iowa are making a difference every day by getting students ready for exciting careers that are in high demand. Their enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) is shaping the future by equipping the next generation of Iowans.

To recognize leadership and dedication that increase student interest in, and awareness of, STEM subjects and careers, The Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council at the Iowa Department of Education is once again partnering with Google to honor one educator from each of the state’s six STEM regions with the Iowa STEM Teacher Award.

Nominations are being accepted through Sept. 30, at 4:59 p.m. The nomination process is simple and open to everyone, including fellow teachers, school administrators, students and parents.
