Wreaths Across America Announces the Mobile Education Exhibit 2027 National Tour Schedule

This traveling museum will visit 21 states next year to honor local veterans and teach the community!

COLUMBIA FALLS, Maine, Oct. 26, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wreaths Across America (WAA) is excited to announce that the Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE) will continue traveling the country in 2027. This unique museum on wheels will visit local communities to share its year-round mission: Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom. Today, WAA announces the MEE tour schedule for the upcoming year.

The MEE will visit the following states in 2027:

  • January – North and South Carolina
  • February – Georgia and Florida
  • March – Florida
  • April – Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi
  • May – Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico
  • June – Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Kansas
  • July – Kansas, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois
  • September – Ohio and Massachusetts
  • October – West Virginia and Virginia
  • November - Pennsylvania

In December, the MEE plans to join in on the annual Escort to Arlington, the world’s largest veterans’ parade that makes its way from Maine to Virginia in preparation for Wreaths Across America Day.

The WAA Driver Ambassadors, who are responsible for taking the MEE to towns across the nation, are proud to have officially welcomed home 7,795 Vietnam veterans since the exhibit first hit the road in 2019. This tradition originated through a longstanding partnership with the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration. Though the Commemoration—which was a national bipartisan program authorized by Congress in 2012 —concluded its work on Nov. 11, 2025, WAA remains committed to honoring the service of these brave individuals and welcomed home 572 Vietnam veterans over the last year. Event hosts and WAA Ambassadors will continue to uphold this tradition in the coming year with gratitude for the sacrifice these service members made and ensuring they receive their official “welcome home.”

When the MEE pulls into your area, all veterans, active-duty military, their families, and local community members are invited and encouraged to visit, take a tour, and speak with WAA Ambassadors and volunteers. The public tours for the MEE are free, and visitors are welcome to ask questions, share stories, and experience this one-of-a-kind exhibit.
